Chasing Dreams: My Transition from the Corporate World 🎮

Hey there, fellow dreamers! 🌟

I've been wanting to share this incredible journey with all of you, and today's the day I finally release my blog! I'm super-excited to share my dreams, fears, successes and failures with you all. It's been about two months since I made a life-changing decision of leaving my safe and comfortable Production Job at a Video Games Company, to venure myself into Indie Development and continuing to Study abou games for social impact.

For those who know me well, you're aware of my deep love for narrative games, especially those like Kena, The Last of Us, and God of War (2018), crafted at Sony Game Studios. These games aren't just entertainment; they're storytelling masterpieces that have left an indelible mark on my soul and in the world of video game development. Either by pulling off what most would say it is impossible by releasing a game that would be fully supported by Sony as Amber Lab did or by breaking selling records like God of War and The Last of Us did, continue to think that video games have the potencial to reach our minds and impact people and generations in a way no other medium can.

But here's the burning question that's been on my mind: Can I, as an indie developer, create something as extraordinary as these masterpieces? Will I be able to develop a solid Design Concept, gather the right people to accompany me in this journey and find funding? This is indeed a question that keeps me up at night, and I'm sure many of you, from studio directors to indie developers, can relate.

Truth is, I'm not all that different from those who choose a more conventional path. Yes, I've opted for a road less traveled, one filled with creative risks and endless possibilities. But, like countless others, I'm driven by an insatiable desire to make a real impact, to create something that truly matters. 💪

The journey has its challenges, and self-doubt can be a tough opponent. But whenever I find myself at a crossroads, I think about these powerful words: "The ones who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do." 🌠

So, here I stand, ready to take on this thrilling challenge, determined to craft games that touch hearts and inspire minds, and prove that dreams can become reality. 🎯
